Veterans helping Veterans
HVA Social gives Veterans a state-based place to connect, share resources, participate in outreach, learn about events, and help other Veterans. Each community is part of the national HVA Social platform and operates under standards established by the Handicapped Veterans Association.
Learn VA S.A.V.E.
VA S.A.V.E. is a brief suicide-prevention training that helps ordinary people recognize signs of crisis, ask the important question, validate a Veteran’s experience, and encourage treatment and expedite help. HVA Social encourages every member and supporter to learn these steps.
